What the service is
dpdownloader retrieves publicly visible profile pictures from third-party platforms and presents them for download. It is provided free of charge and without any guarantee of availability. Platforms change their systems regularly, and a tool that works today may stop working without notice.
Acceptable use
You may use this site to retrieve publicly available images for lawful purposes. You may not use it to harass, stalk, impersonate or defame anyone; to gather images at scale by automated means; to infringe copyright or other rights; or in any way that breaks the law where you are.
Automated or excessive requests are rate limited and may be blocked.
Rights in the images
We do not own the pictures retrieved through this site and grant you no rights in them. A profile picture normally belongs to the person who created or commissioned it. Downloading an image for personal reference is not the same as being licensed to republish it, use it commercially, or adopt it as your own avatar — the last of which may also breach the platform's impersonation rules.
Responsibility for how you use a downloaded image is yours.
No affiliation
This site is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any platform named on it. Platform names and logos are the trademarks of their respective owners and appear here for identification only.
Availability
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that any particular platform will keep working. Tools may be withdrawn at any time — as Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp were, when those platforms placed previously public content behind a login.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Takedown requests
If you believe the site facilitates infringement of your rights, contact us with details and we will respond promptly. Note that images are not hosted here; they stream from the originating platform.
Changes
These terms may be updated, with the date at the top revised accordingly.
