The short version
We do not ask you to create an account, we do not store the pictures you look up, and we do not build a profile of you. What follows is the detail behind that.
What is collected
Usernames you enter are used to perform the lookup and are not written to any persistent log.
Your IP address is held very briefly and only to enforce a rate limit that prevents automated abuse. The record is a short list of timestamps against a hashed form of your address, it expires within about a minute, and it is not linked to what you searched for.
Standard server logs may record the page requested, the time, and a user agent, as on almost any website. These are used for diagnosing faults and are not used to identify individuals.
What is not collected
We do not store downloaded images. Pictures stream from the platform's servers through to your device and are not written to disk here. We do not require or accept any social media credentials — no tool on this site will ever ask you to log in to a platform, and you should treat any site that does with suspicion. We do not sell data, because we do not gather data worth selling.
Cookies
The site itself sets no tracking cookies and works with cookies disabled entirely. If advertising is introduced in future, advertising cookies would be set by the ad provider rather than by us, and this policy will be updated before that happens rather than after.
Third parties
To fetch a picture we contact the platform you named. That request comes from our servers, not from your browser, so the platform does not see your IP address. Images are then streamed through this site rather than linked directly, which also keeps your details away from the platform's CDN.
Hosting and content delivery providers process traffic on our behalf and are bound by their own agreements.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Nothing on the site requires personal information to be entered.
Your rights
Because we hold essentially nothing about you, there is usually nothing to export or erase. If you believe we hold something concerning you, write to us through the contact page and we will respond.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
